Looking Forward To Buying Birthday Gifts For My Little Princess

Amazing how times fly so fast. It feels like it was just yesterday when I gave birth to a bouncing baby girl named Megan. My little Megan will be celebrating her 1st birthday come July 19. Buying her birthday presents has been on my mind but I don’t have any idea yet as to what to give to my special little Princess. I know there are plenty of baby stuff you can find in stores and online for birthdays but it would be awesome if I can give something to her that she can keep until she grows old.

When she goes to sleep in a couple of minutes, I would love to search for birthday gifts and present ideas appropriate for her age on the internet. That way I don’t feel guilty buying stuff that do not really useful at her age. It would be a waste of money if that is the case. I really don’t want the idea of giving my children toys or gifts just for the sake of giving them presents it is because it’s their birthday. I want to give them something educational so they can learn from using or playing with these particular stuff.

Oh I remember I had spencersonline.com bookmarked before and opened the website just now. I actually found a very interesting object that the birthday celebrant and her big sister both want to enjoy playing. It is an 8-inch sound responsive plasma ball. I believe this could make a nice gift for both of my kids so they can explore Science and technology at the same time.

Protect Your Identity

I have read about emails that is sent to me from different people from the past about electronic pickpockets. These thieves step up to stealing from other people’s hard work and worse their identity. They would use an electronic tool that scans your card identification’s information from your wallet without even touching the device to it. That scares me because how do we know if we go out there and they are just one of those “ordinary-looking” guys that walk in the streets with me.

Well, even just by shopping online at home, that doesn’t guarantee you of your safety. So it is important to protect or lock our identities. With rfid credit cards, they can can help us by selling RFID blocking products. They have been protecting credit cards since 2005.

Got Her GPS Stolen

GPS is one of the hottest gadgets nowadays that if you mistakenly leave it in your car and park your car outside the store, guaranteed your car will be broken into and get the GPS just like what happened to my friend months ago. She went to Walmart and forgot to hide her GPS that was on the dashboard, when came back it was gone and her window was broken. Not only she lost her GPS but she also had to fix the broken window which probably cost more than the cost of the stolen GPS. Anyway, she can always replace her GPS with a tomtom gps so there is no worry about that.

Ipod Charger

I guess only very few people left in America not having an iPod or iPhone, one of them is me. But I guess I will be having an iPod soon for I already asked my husband I want one for our anniversary. I hope when he buys one, he would also include an ipod charger so he only pays the shipping fee once in order to save a few bucks. He said why I choose an iPod over an iPhone and I told him what for? I don’t need a grand cellphone I just want something to store my music and that’s it. Since I blog a lot, I would rather choose to have a new computer over an iPhone because I don’t think I would be satisfied doing my thing in an iPhone.

Slim

How cute and slim are these Ordinateurs de bureau desktops I saw online today. So convenient to move it anywhere in the house or when moving. It doesn’t take much space on the desk as well. Good timing we have planned of buying our first born a fast and new computer and then I found these slim french desktop computers. Jadyn has got small desk in her bedroom so as much as possible, we would get her something that is almost miniature in size.

Strange Looking Logitech Mouse

Thanks to my husband for buying me a new mouse. It is a computer accessory that I cannot live without. It’s my third mouse since I started using laptop, two of the previous mice were cordless once and are both broken. For some reason mice won’t last long in my hands. The third one has a cord to make sure my baby girl won’t drop it and break it eventually. While Logitech is a great brand, I appreciate him for getting me one but… it is a strange looking trackball mouse that is hard to operate. I have used a trackball mouse from the past alright but it was the thumb that will move the ball that made it easier and comfortable to use…
And this one I have I have to use my pointer or tall finger in order to move the cursor and what makes it more strange is that the third button which is the scroll button is attached to the right click button. It will take a while before I get used to using this one for sure!
……truly it is a weird looking mouse that I can compare to that a face of a cockroach or a bug nyaaaahahaha…

Who knew?

Thanks to Darwin Barton

Who would have thought a few years ago that I was going to be knee deep in boxes? Everyone in my life knew how much I loved my house and living in Chicago so the last thing anyone thought is that I would be moving but when this new job offer came along I just had to take it, even if it did mean leaving behind everything I’d loved before. I’m really starting to get used to it here and I actually kind of like being out of the city although there are some things I do miss. My new place has satellite star internet and a big bay window and it’s even got a view of the lake so I guess all in all it wasn’t a bad trade off for that cramped one bedroom I used to live in. I’m starting to feel at home although there will always be a special place in my heart for the Windy City and I go back to visit as often as I possibly can!
