Victoria’s Secret Semi-Annual Sale and Free Undies

When I entered Victoria’s Secret last week, I wasn’t sure what to buy. I only had a free panty coupon on hand and didn’t think of buying anything other than claiming my freebie. But then, they had this 75% off Lost in Fantasy mists for $3.50, originally $14. I grabbed 9 bottles and 2 pairs of very sexy cheeky panty worth $16.50 and a special Valentine red lace panty .

It could have been an easy $65 out of pocket for me if I didn’t see I had (2) $10 Pink award cards being a VIP member that they sent me last December. I used 2 during check out that left me $12 plus including tax total for 11 items.  What a deal I got and I am delighted of the deep discount I was able to avail at my favorite store.

Some people don’t bother finding ways on how to save for products they love because maybe they got abundant supply of money, but I am a practical person. I would use every coupon possible just so I can save some money to use for other things. Who doesn’t love to save, anyway? Unless you are Paris Hilton who is a spoiled brat and literally just throwing away her money.

Kroger Free Toothbrushes and Half Priced Coffee at CVS

I stopped couponing months ago but when I see deals that don’t require coupons due to its deep discount, I’d grab it and stock up on it. Kroger deal on Colgate toothbrush plus is on going and good until February 2, it’s currently $10/10 and get a $2 catalina coupon every 2 toothbrushes purchased after check out, it’s like getting them for free.

Another great deal at CVS, sale unfortunately had ended yesterday for $4.99 for 30.45 oz. Folgers coffee and 30.60 oz Maxwell House Wake Up. Full price for each is $10.99 for Folgers and $12.49 for Maxwell House. I don’t drink coffee, my husband does so I stocked up on coffee that is at least half a year’s supply for him. I did not use any coupons for those deals because, as you can see the savings huge it’s free and 55% off.

I love seeing deals like these. Saves us money plus we get to buy enough supply that lasts longer. How about you? Do you chase deals around your area or you just buy one item that you need?

Two Pairs of Steve Madden Bedtime Boots for $12.88

This is what I am talking about! Deep discount on Steve Madden bedtime boots occurred last night. Shoppers went crazy at 11 pm because of these boots on Steve Madden website. They were on clearance for $14.99 and an additional 50% off by using a code SAVE and FREE SHIPPING. Who doesn’t want that? I know I already have several pairs of boots, some haven’t been worn once since I bought them but deals like this are hard to resist. This deal did not last long, a girl I told about it soon after I checked out wasn’t so lucky for it was out of stock when she logged in to her account.

These are perfect to wear in the house to keep your feet warm all the time. Seeing a mad deal like this, you should be fast enough to get your credit card in order to avail the promo or before the stocks run out, otherwise, you’ll regret it, haha.

Aside from getting these two pairs for under $13, I get 3% cashback by going through Ebates. It is a website by the way that pays you certain percentage from your favorite online store. I would recommend you will use it simply by creating a profile there, click the link and next time you go online shopping, go through ebates and voila!

Victoria’s Secret 9 Items for Less than $12

Here’s my latest haul from Victoria’s Secret. Seven bottles of VS mists and two clearance bras, all for $11.14 including shipping and tax of course. How did I come with the amount? Read on.

I was lucky to receive (1) $50 secret reward card last December so I bought a $40 gift card in order to avail the semi-annual clearance sale since the secret reward card had expired December 19, the semi-annual sale did not start until Jan. 1. Also, I had (2) $10 Pink reward card for any Pink purchase which I used towards the two bras. Total amount for 9 items is $66 that is not including tax and shipping. The two Pink cards by the way were sent from them for me because they have upgraded my status from regular member to being a VIP.

You see, there are many ways to save on things here, all you got to do is find them on the internet. As for me, I join FB group that is composed of mostly Filipinas that love to share links of deals either online or in-store. I check the group from time to time because we never know deals could pop out any moment.

It pays to be on the internet most of the day because of the deals on clothing, fragrances, housewares and many more. I can’t count how many I have taken advantage of in the past, thanks to this awesome group I belong for it tells me when deals are happening.

Store Freebies of this Week

Two items I got for free today from Albertson’s and CVS. I got the full-size body wash from CVS by printing a coupon couple of days ago. The 8 inches Cuisinart non-stick stainless skillet is from Albertson. The store has an annual promo to all their customers. Those who shop from September until December 25 can earn 1 stamp for every $10 spent in their store. We have collected just 73 stamps and so an 8 inches skillet is what we got for free.

It is a pretty thing to have in our kitchen, makes cooking easy and wipe off easy. I always love it when I get free stuff through coupons or joining promotions.

Over $50 Savings from Aeropostale

I am so crazy with good deals! If I find one and I know it’s a good one, better be fast and grab it before it’s gone. Two days ago Filipinas had frenzy shopping on PS Aeropostale website due to free $10 plus free shipping deal. I was one of the lucky ones who got to use four codes and made four transactions that only cost me $1.34 for I exceeded on the minimum amount that I should order, that’s fine! Paying that very little amount for five items is way better than paying $50 or more out of pocket if I didn’t use codes for my items.

You see, I see it as a blessing in a form of clothing. They are almost free if I say it. These warm fleece pants are comfortable and feel good to the skin. Some people who have money are willing to pay that amount but I am not, even though they were on sale but they would still be too much for our pocket. Thank God for the opportunities wherein I can still shop for clothes we need but pay too little for them.

Aeropostale has done a good job shipping these items, they came very fast and also they included $30 worth of coupons for next shopping. I love it!

Shopping at Rue21 Under $8

For some Rue21 clothing store isn’t popular for them but it has become one of my shopping destinations when I go to the mall. When they say 50% off additional clearance items, it means deep discounts on their clothing. Unlike Wetseal or Forever21, I noticed that even though they say BOGO clearance items, you’d still pay at least $7 or $10 a piece which for me is deceiving.

Here is an example of what “deal” is. For a chevron print dress, originally priced at $17.97, I got it for $5, the second item is a denim vest with hood for $2. Original price was $21.97. I am glad I’ve waited purchasing a denim vest for I found such a deal for it. Total cost for two items is $7.58. I saved a whooping of $32.94 in Tuesday’s shopping trip.

I have been wanting to buy a vest, I looked elsewhere, even online stores but I just couldn’t spend so much money on a very small piece of clothing. Thank goodness Rue21 has it for a lot less! Happy shopper I am as always.

Thanksgiving Freebies at CVS This Week

Started last Sunday,23 until 29th, CVS will have several items you get for free after extrabucks. Be sure to check their online or in-store ad which ones you like to get. I grabbed 8 products but only printed 7 ecb receipts, I don’t know why that one item did not print out, it’s probably the kitkat worth $1 but I am not planning of going back to the store just for that.

I had $10 gift card on hand so I paid less than $2 for my items, I also bought Physicians Formula eye defining pencil not in picture. I rolled my ecbs and paid less out of pocket for them and still got ecbs to use next time I go to CVS. I stopped couponing four months ago but freebies like this is hard to resist.

Another great deal I got in today’s shopping, this one is from Kroger. I knew that there’s a deal for Aveeno product at that store this week and tried it. Here’s what I got, a $3 catalina and a $2 rebate at checkout51 on my phone. This cost $5.99 each, you do the math of my savings, I used (2) $1 tear pad for two bottles. I’ll go back there again on Wednesday and see if catalina is still available. So, it’s a total $7 savings for two bottles. Final price would be $2.40 each.

Free Bath and Body Works Lotion, a $12.50 Value

It is possible to score free body care at Bath and Body Works with little or no money to spend. There are many ways in order to avail promos like this online or at their store. Once you become a frequent shopper at their store, rest assured they’ll give you heaps of coupons to make you coming back to their store.

One best deal I just scored from BBW is this FREE white citrus body lotion. Through the use of a coupon “free body care any full size item” with any purchase. My idea was purchased only the smallest antibac hand sanitizer which is $1.74 with no tax. With that amount, it got me a pocket antibac and a full size lotion, amazing isn’t it?

I still got heaps of coupons left but it requires me to spend a minimum amount of money before I can have my free item, I guess I just have to pass the deal as I have no budget for that in the meantime. Besides, I already have plenty of bottles of lotions and fragrances collected throughout my couponing months. They should be enough supply until next winter season and for balik-bayan box.

Chocolate Markdowns After Halloween

There are only two occasions each year when you can score really great deals on chocolate, after Halloween and Christmas. Most stores will put their chocolates up 50-75% after each occasion to give space for new ones. These are the total packages of chocolates I hauled in CVS and Walmart after Halloween.

The yellow packages of Snickers I bought from CVS, originally priced at $4.99 and marked down to $1.88 and had $3.50 worth of extrabucks used upon check out.

The large brown bags were are Walmart, these are large bags containing 80 and 95 pieces of assorted chocolates. The orange package I bought for full price at a different store before Halloween, still a great deal because there’s so many candies in that package.

I plan of visiting the Philippines next year so buying chocs and candies as early as now is a great idea while they’re on sale! Chocolates’ “best before” date will be until June 2015, but even that day comes, they will still be good for they never really go bad.
