CVS Thanksgiving Freebies

Free is good and I love it. Free paid for by your neighbors is bad and I don’t like that idea. So, if you haven’t head out to CVS this week, better go asap as these freebies are only good until tomorrow. I scored a few items that I use and are useful to my family worth $12.47. I could have scored more but when I went to the other CVS store, some items are out and I can’t force them to sell me the stuff I want if they are out, lol.

Anyway, I only paid $2+ out of pocket for all this since I had $10 extrabucks on hand. Goodies are good, eh! I used two cards for this, of course!

Items below;

1 CVS trial pack boys training pants

2 CVS brand pantiliners

2 Colgate toothpastes at $3 each ( I used (2) red machine printed coupons $2.50 and (2) .50 manufacturer coupons

2 CVS travel wipes

2 Extra gum sticks

1 Luden cough drops

1 sour patch gum

1 CVS adult gummies

1 sample Centrum vitamints

Cute Aldo Crossbody From $39.99 Down to $10 Plus

Look what I found on DSW website? This is probably one of the cutest crossbody bags I own now. I love it’s hot pink color ( photo don’t show and don’t do justice) and the first pink color bag I bought.

Sometimes it pays to be patient and wait until you hit the deal. Before I could purchase this thing, I eyed on it for a few days and so wanted to buy it right away but had a hard time using my coupon certificate on their website so, that somehow, delayed me from checking this out. Well, the odd was in favor of me because two days after I itched buying it, DSW offered 25% off promo for their entire site including clearance or sale items and take note free shipping too. BOOM! How I liked that?

If I didn’t wait, I could have paid more for this item than the price I got it for. Imagine this crossbody bag retails from $39.99 and only paid $10 plus tax final price after site promo and a coupon certificate worth $20! Ain’t that sweet? I am happy because the thing I really want finally in my closet for a fraction of a price than what most people normally pay. It’s sooo cute and beautiful!

Old Navy End of Season Clearance Starting at 47 Cents

Now is the perfect time to shop for clothes for you and your entire family especially for your kids. One of my favorite destinations to shop for clearance is Old Navy. When we say, clearance, their merchandise is truly marked down to like they almost give it away.

You just have to take your time and have patience when shopping for clearance. There are plenty to choose from and some of the mark down items are buried deep under the not so deal items. As temperatures get dropping down, stores are also getting rid of their previous merchandise so you really need to head on to your fave store and start shopping for next summer’s outfit.

As for my haul yesterday, I found quite a lot on women’s section to be cheap. Two of my favorite finds are the blue hound’s tooth dress for under $8 and a beautiful beige/faux snakeskin body bag which I love a lot. It was marked down half price off and so I grabbed it. If the bag was sold at less than $15 and it isn’t as beautiful as the one I’m wearing below, I would even bother spending my money on it. But man, when I laid eyes on it, thought this bag was gorgeous for half off price.

Other stuff I found was 47 cents women’s sleeveless shirts, 2 summer dresses for my 7 year old kid, one long sleeves and two other top for my mother which are under $2 each. I paid a little over $32 for everything plus a $10 Old Navy supercash good for next shopping trip.

I am happy with my haul and yes, would love to go back there again sometime soon.

Victoria’s Secret Free Lingerie Travel Case

I go visit to my home country every two years and each time I travel, I kind of wish I had a decent case to put all my underwear in, this includes my bras. I hate the idea of my luggage are being thrown and harshly handled by baggage handlers at the airport and find out that my bras are squished and damaged. Aside from that, I dread the thought that my undies are exposed once a person who wants to open my luggage and it’s my undies that greet them first.

Now, I can rest easy as I finally got me a travel case intended for my lingerie only and here’s a bonus, it’s FREE from Victoria’s Secret! It pays to be a VIP member of this store. I used the coupon they sent me in the mail to get this one. Their only requirement is just to buy two full-priced bras which I did.

I don’t need new bras, I still got a few of them with tags in my drawers but I really believe I need the case so I must shop and spend money on bras, one for my sister, by the way. I don’t regret though for I had a $10 off a bra, free panties with purchase coupons and a $10 reward card from VS for using my store credit card in the past I used for this shopping trip.

I paid $46 total including tax for my items but hey, with that price… I think it’s really a good deal knowing that if I had to buy the travel case, it would’ve cost me $70. While swiping my VS card, I am also accumulating points to my account which will turn into a $ in the future. Deal, ain’t it?

that pretty black case I have been wanting to own… it could fit at least 5 bras and some little sexy things in a black zipped compartment.

 photo vstravel_zpszp7dbbxq.jpg
…. as you can see photo below, there’s a special compartment for little panties that is not very visible once the case is opened. I like it that way because you know, nobody should see what style or size of undies you’re wearing. Not even a stranger should see it.

99 Cents Signature Flip Flops from Goodwill

While most people are bragging about their expensive trips or latest gadgets, expensive purses, makeups or anything, I, on the other hand, is up to something else. I don’t have those expensive things to show off to the world but great finds anywhere. And that’s exactly what I am going to share here today.

Nike wedges and Calvin Klein I found in Goodwill today for only 99 cents each pair. I did not expect to pay them for that amount. Goodwill had their 50% entire purchase today and I did not miss the deal for I went there just before the store opened to ensure I get the good stuff before the others.

There are some pretty stuff I bought for half off GW price but the highlight of my shopping today are these two beautiful flip flops that are so cheaply priced. I am sure they are genuine for I am familiar the original store the owners bought them from, they’re from Macy’s. They are also unworn items, I looked at the soles and not a single mark or scratch that the flip flops are worn. It was purel luck I found the items before anyone got to them.

They are two inches bigger than my size but giving them to my little sister won’t hurt. I hope she likes them.

Lightweight Training Kicks

When I saw this deal on Amazon last week, I did not hesitate to buy this pair for I know it will be comfortable. I read the reviews and everybody is saying how comfy, lightweight and how they liked the shoes. When they came in, I did not regret buying these for under $23, I got me a good pair of shoes that I can use walking on the trail. This is the sixth pair I have hoping to give me motivation in walking some more and burning excess calories in my abdomen.

I don’t need those high price shoes just like what most of you guys embrace, as long as the shoes are comfortable and very light to the feet, I’ll go for it. Running/training/walking shoes are far more attractive to me these days than fashionable high heels that to me are useless for I am not a party-kind of girl.

But when it comes to running shoes, man looking at them is like looking at a melted ice cream that makes me wanna lick and drool with it.

My Goodwill Find Vase Under $10

It pays off to be patient and it has been proven to myself that it does. For a year now, I have this nice white decorative twigs we bought at IKEA last year. I am so attracted to them and thought that they could make a beautiful decor in the house so I bought ten pieces. It has been sitting in the corner for I did not have a big, heavy and sturdy vase to it into.

At long last, I found one that is suitable for my twigs and it didn’t cost me much money to buy it. I found this very piece at Goodwill last week for just $8.99. It still looks pretty good and shiny from the outside, just needed a little bit of cleaning and voila!

I went to Goodwill hoping to find a supply box for my second grader but then it wasn’t available, while in the store might as well roam around and see what treasure I could find that day. I was not disappointed for I brought home with me two big heavy vases that could’ve easily cost me $60 for both when bought new. How lucky, right?

Photo below taken in our bedroom. The vase itself matches with the color of our headboard and almost similar color to our curtains I currently use. It also is making our bedroom a little bit presentable I believe.

Undies and Travel-Size Body Lotion Freebies

Thankfully, we are close to the mall, 5-8 minutes approximately. When there are coupons for free items arrive in our mailbox, trust me, they will not go to waste as I always claim them on time. I just can’t let freebies to pass by especially if I know what I am getting are from my favorite shops.

I don’t use body lotions fast, but over time I can accumulate almost enough to send to my family and friends in the Philippines. Victoria’s Secret and Bath and Body Works products are expensive, but with the use of coupons and store sales, that is when I will be able to afford many pieces to give out to selected people I know.

Coupons are one of the reasons why I keep coming back to shop at Victoria’s Secret. They have been so generous to me and so they deserve my loyalty as one of their thousand shoppers. I always look forward to receiving their coupons for freebies in the mail. Whenever they come, they make my day awesome.

Where Should You Buy a Fur?

When you buy a fur for yourself or someone you love, you want it to be perfect. A fur is a major investment on your part. Therefore, you need to be certain that it is money well spent. This means that you need to carefully select the furrier that you do business with. With so many furriers in this world, the choice of which one to buy your furs from is not a decision that should be made lightly. The quality and prices of furs vary greatly from one furrier to the next. Where should you buy a fur? Here are some valuable tips to help you make a decision.

1. Many years in the fur business

Choose a furrier that has been around for a long time. If a company has been selling furs for decades, this means that the quality of the furs they sell is exceptional enough to make people keep coming back again. It also means their prices are fair. ML Furs is just such a furrier. Opening their doors in 1951, the quality of their furs are second to none. Learn more about them by visiting https://www.mlfurs.com/.

2. A large inventory

You may want to buy a fur, but you may not have any idea what style you want. In cases like this, it is important that a furrier have a large inventory so that customers can keep browsing through different styles until they see something that piques their interest. Basically, you want to avoid having to go to many different fur retailers to find the exact fur you are looking for. The larger the inventory that a furrier has, the better the chance that you will be able to find something you like.

3. Pricing

A fur is not a cheap item. You should know that going in. That having been said, the prices on certain furs can differ dramatically depending on what store is selling them. Shopping around for the best deal is essential when you are making a purchase of this magnitude. You should always try to save yourself the maximum amount of money. Looking around online for the lowest price will not take you very long. The savings you get from doing this can be quite substantial. There are furriers that price their furs competitively, while others are extraordinarily high. Looking around will help you determine which ones fall into each of those categories.

Victoria’s Secret Semi-Annual Haul

What did I just say in the title, “haul”? That if you can call those four items a haul, hehe. Haul for me is bags and bags of merchandise bought. Anyway, I am proud of myself again today for scoring a great deal of these things in the picture below at Victoria’s Secret store.

They are currently having their semi-annual sale where bras, clothing, cosmetics, beauty/fragrance products are marked down to 75% off. Since I still have new bras with tag on, I did not need to buy any even though I got two $10 off a regular priced bra coupons. Instead, went ahead and used my 2 free panties coupons with purchase.

For 4 items that would have cost me $35 plus tax without the coupons, I stuck to my plan, just get the things that I intended to get before I went there. Believe it or not, I only paid $7.04 including tax for these VS items below. The body lotion is on clearance for $3.50, the panties original price each is $10.50 but with coupons, I paid them real low. What a steal, wasn’t it?

Honestly, my undies  are mostly freebies for being their loyal customers. I am loving it, they have my loyalty and they shower me with good rewards. Well they should, for VS is the only brand I wear whether it be a sport bra, panties and bras or even fragrance mists. It’s just a matter of give and take, ika nga!
