Victoria’s Secret Semi-Annual Haul

What did I just say in the title, “haul”? That if you can call those four items a haul, hehe. Haul for me is bags and bags of merchandise bought. Anyway, I am proud of myself again today for scoring a great deal of these things in the picture below at Victoria’s Secret store.

They are currently having their semi-annual sale where bras, clothing, cosmetics, beauty/fragrance products are marked down to 75% off. Since I still have new bras with tag on, I did not need to buy any even though I got two $10 off a regular priced bra coupons. Instead, went ahead and used my 2 free panties coupons with purchase.

For 4 items that would have cost me $35 plus tax without the coupons, I stuck to my plan, just get the things that I intended to get before I went there. Believe it or not, I only paid $7.04 including tax for these VS items below. The body lotion is on clearance for $3.50, the panties original price each is $10.50 but with coupons, I paid them real low. What a steal, wasn’t it?

Honestly, my undies  are mostly freebies for being their loyal customers. I am loving it, they have my loyalty and they shower me with good rewards. Well they should, for VS is the only brand I wear whether it be a sport bra, panties and bras or even fragrance mists. It’s just a matter of give and take, ika nga!

Pink Products for Less Than $2

Sweet, almost free PINK products below I grabbed last week. I only paid  $1.08 total for all five items, it would have been over $50 if I wasn’t wise doing my round of shopping at the Victoria’s Secret store. How did I do this? Well, here’s a breakdown.

Boy shorts $9.50 orig price, I used that $1 coupon they gave me for trying on a bra at their store, then the PINK mini mists on sale for $5 each, I had $20 worth gift certificate that they sent me two weeks ago as a birthday gift certificate. I did two different visits since VS would only accept certificate one at a time.

I love it when I get to avail almost free of my favorite products. Since I am visiting my motherland in a month, these items can make great gifts to chosen people. I hope they will like the scent and that they will be happy to receive these.

Stocking Up on Bath Towels on Memorial Day

While Memorial Day is celebrated in commemoration of the Fallen heroes, this is also the time when retailers take advantage of making huge profits by flooding the consumers with their bargains both online and in-store. Most families especially those who have lost a loved on in the battlefield or in the country serving this great nation, they celebrated the occasion by visiting them at their graves, others are barbecuing in their backyard, some are participating the event called “Carry the Load” starting from NY to Dallas. And a few went to the malls or outlet stores to shop and take advantage of the sales.

I was one of them. My girls and I went shopping for home at Macy’s yesterday and bought 7 pieces Tommy Hilfiger bath towels. They were on sale for $7.99 each plus I had a 20% coupon on hand which cost me just a little over $6 each. Also I earned $10 Macy’s money after spending over $55 at their store.

We need new bath towels for the ones we are still using are at least 7-9 years old. They need to be changed because they are getting rough on the skin when we pat dry our body after shower. I did not get disappointed for I got what I wanted to buy although we were rushing yesterday due to severe thunderstorm coming our way!

Now we got enough towels, I can now rest my mind from spending money on them and will do so a few years from now. Tommy Hilfiger is a name brand known in the US, so that I alone, I trust that their merchandise should last longer.

Old Navy Skater Dress for Under $1

Money is tight these days yet I managed to shop some clothing for me and my girls. They are growing everyday so I am constantly on the lookout for nice yet good deal dresses, undies and other things for them. I am back to shopping at Old Navy store now after such a long time of dodging them because I believed the quality of their clothing materials had declined but with all the deals, sales and clearance prices going on at their store, I find myself going there again.

Last time I went there, I was able to find this super cute skater dress for $1.97 clearance price, large size in children’s department and it turned out to be just 97 cents when I checked out. It fits me good plus the sweet price tag. I did not hesitate to grab it along with a couple items in my hand that time. I bought two dresses actually, same skater dress style but different color and stripes.

I don’t normally find such a price like this but when I do, rest assured… I won’t be going home empty-handed. Believe it or not, I went home that day with 5 items in my hand for just a little over $27 total plus I earned supercash for next shopping of $25 or more. Yes, that’s how thrifty I am when it comes to scouring for clothing deals.

Love it!

Victoria’s Secret $3 Money Maker

Victoria’s Secret is giving away a secret reward again, with $10 purchase in-store or online, you’ll get at least one worth $10, $50, $100 or $500. My second order arrived today and got two secret reward cards. I paid $16.99 for two PINK travel-size hand cream including shipping.

With two secret reward cards came with it, there is at least sure $20 worth in there if I don’t get lucky getting those higher rewards. I am good with it for it will make it $3  money maker once redeemed. I know, I must spend some money first before I make money but that’s alright, who knows I will get a $50 reward again. It will be sweet!

Buy 1 Get 2 Free Aeropostale Socks

I just know when I see pretty good deals, if I miss to buy that item in my first visit, I just couldn’t sleep until I buy one for me. One example are these Aeropostale ankle socks I bought last week. I didn’t buy them when I first saw them as I had other items in mind why I visited their store at the mall. When I went home that day, I couldn’t stop thinking about the socks.

Socks are a must-have for me in winter. Besides, I have a 7-year old girl that constantly needs socks for school. So I went back to the mall and made sure I got me 9 pairs of socks with nice prints in them. Aeropostale sale for socks was buy one get two free! Each pack contains three pairs for $10.50. I paid a little over $11 for 9 pairs of socks, yeah!

Each pair is just $1.30 after tax, a few cents more than what is individually sold at Walmart. Aero for me is the winner quality-wise. Walmart’s socks are stringy inside which could trap your little toes when you put them on in a hurry! Hurry to your nearest Aeropostale store and see if you can still score this awesome sock deal!

Victoria’s Secret Semi-Annual Sale and Free Undies

When I entered Victoria’s Secret last week, I wasn’t sure what to buy. I only had a free panty coupon on hand and didn’t think of buying anything other than claiming my freebie. But then, they had this 75% off Lost in Fantasy mists for $3.50, originally $14. I grabbed 9 bottles and 2 pairs of very sexy cheeky panty worth $16.50 and a special Valentine red lace panty .

It could have been an easy $65 out of pocket for me if I didn’t see I had (2) $10 Pink award cards being a VIP member that they sent me last December. I used 2 during check out that left me $12 plus including tax total for 11 items.  What a deal I got and I am delighted of the deep discount I was able to avail at my favorite store.

Some people don’t bother finding ways on how to save for products they love because maybe they got abundant supply of money, but I am a practical person. I would use every coupon possible just so I can save some money to use for other things. Who doesn’t love to save, anyway? Unless you are Paris Hilton who is a spoiled brat and literally just throwing away her money.

Kroger Free Toothbrushes and Half Priced Coffee at CVS

I stopped couponing months ago but when I see deals that don’t require coupons due to its deep discount, I’d grab it and stock up on it. Kroger deal on Colgate toothbrush plus is on going and good until February 2, it’s currently $10/10 and get a $2 catalina coupon every 2 toothbrushes purchased after check out, it’s like getting them for free.

Another great deal at CVS, sale unfortunately had ended yesterday for $4.99 for 30.45 oz. Folgers coffee and 30.60 oz Maxwell House Wake Up. Full price for each is $10.99 for Folgers and $12.49 for Maxwell House. I don’t drink coffee, my husband does so I stocked up on coffee that is at least half a year’s supply for him. I did not use any coupons for those deals because, as you can see the savings huge it’s free and 55% off.

I love seeing deals like these. Saves us money plus we get to buy enough supply that lasts longer. How about you? Do you chase deals around your area or you just buy one item that you need?

Two Pairs of Steve Madden Bedtime Boots for $12.88

This is what I am talking about! Deep discount on Steve Madden bedtime boots occurred last night. Shoppers went crazy at 11 pm because of these boots on Steve Madden website. They were on clearance for $14.99 and an additional 50% off by using a code SAVE and FREE SHIPPING. Who doesn’t want that? I know I already have several pairs of boots, some haven’t been worn once since I bought them but deals like this are hard to resist. This deal did not last long, a girl I told about it soon after I checked out wasn’t so lucky for it was out of stock when she logged in to her account.

These are perfect to wear in the house to keep your feet warm all the time. Seeing a mad deal like this, you should be fast enough to get your credit card in order to avail the promo or before the stocks run out, otherwise, you’ll regret it, haha.

Aside from getting these two pairs for under $13, I get 3% cashback by going through Ebates. It is a website by the way that pays you certain percentage from your favorite online store. I would recommend you will use it simply by creating a profile there, click the link and next time you go online shopping, go through ebates and voila!

Victoria’s Secret 9 Items for Less than $12

Here’s my latest haul from Victoria’s Secret. Seven bottles of VS mists and two clearance bras, all for $11.14 including shipping and tax of course. How did I come with the amount? Read on.

I was lucky to receive (1) $50 secret reward card last December so I bought a $40 gift card in order to avail the semi-annual clearance sale since the secret reward card had expired December 19, the semi-annual sale did not start until Jan. 1. Also, I had (2) $10 Pink reward card for any Pink purchase which I used towards the two bras. Total amount for 9 items is $66 that is not including tax and shipping. The two Pink cards by the way were sent from them for me because they have upgraded my status from regular member to being a VIP.

You see, there are many ways to save on things here, all you got to do is find them on the internet. As for me, I join FB group that is composed of mostly Filipinas that love to share links of deals either online or in-store. I check the group from time to time because we never know deals could pop out any moment.

It pays to be on the internet most of the day because of the deals on clothing, fragrances, housewares and many more. I can’t count how many I have taken advantage of in the past, thanks to this awesome group I belong for it tells me when deals are happening.
